The on-going coronavirus pandemic may restrict us from living our old normal lives, Suzuki Motorcycles Philippines grabbed this opportunity to move forward and provide mobility solutions in the new normal by launching four models in its motorcycle line-up – the Burgman Street, Skydrive Crossover, the Gixxer 250, and the Gixxer SF250.
Burgman Street
A smaller displacement version of the Burgman 400, the Burgman Street is powered by an all-aluminum 4-stroke, single-cylinder, 125cc fuel-injected Suzuki Performance engine for a powerful yet fuel-efficient performance. It also boasts of a combined brake system that provides superior running performance and control.
It is equipped with a full digital instrument panel with a digital clock, a fuel gauge, an oil change indicator, and a dual trip meter to help you track the distance between trips and help you monitor the scooter’s fuel efficiency. It also has 2-liter lidded front glove box with an optional USB charger to make your trips more convenient.
The Burgman Street has an integrated engine start and kill switch, allowing the rider to turn it on and off with ease, and a one-push central locking as an anti-theft feature.
To improve the rider’s visibility at night, the Burgman Street is equipped with LED headlight, position lamp, and tail lamp. Its European-inspired body mounted windscreen reduces drag and improves the scooter’s aerodynamics on wider roads. It features an upward muffler design that enhances its sporty and premium look. The chrome accent body parts made the Burgman Street more elegant.
Other features of the Burgman Street include a 21-liter under-seat compartment, an elevated seat for a more relaxed ride, a wide floorboard, and dual utility hooks.
The Suzuki Burgman Street is available in two colors – the Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray and Glass Sparkle Black and is priced at PHP 76,900.
Skydrive Crossover
After launching the Raider J Crossover last year, Suzuki Motorcycles now released a scooter version of the Crossover, the Skydrive Crossover. Equipped with a 113cc fuel-injected Suzuki Performance engine, the Skydrive Crossover is expected to deliver a maximum power at optimum fuel-efficiency.
It has a full digital instrument panel for easy handling without compromising the visibility of information with a trip-meter, digital clock, speedometer and battery voltage indicator.
The Suzuki Skydrive Crossover is installed with semi-block tires that deliver great on- and off-road performance, and a sport-touring handlebar for easy and relaxed riding position. This scooter also has a large floorboard, a low seat height (740mm), a high ground clearance (150mm), and a front disc brake.
The Skydrive Crossover is available in four colors – Daytona Yellow, Pearl Ash Blue, Strong Red, and Solid Black and is priced at PHP 69,900.
Gixxer 250 Series
Powered by a newly developed 250cc, SOHC, Oil-Cooled, 4-valve, fuel-injected engine equipped with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 Series is indeed a robust-looking motorcycle that offers a safe and comfortable ride. It also has oil cooling system with fan for improved cooling performance.
Contributing to the Gixxer 250 Series’ aggressive look are sporty LED head- and tail light, an inverted instrument panel, dual exhaust muffler, and a split sear for easy access on the ground and better thigh grip.
With great power and styling, the Gixxer 250 Series also offer a safe a comfortable ride with a High Rigidity Frame and Swing Arm to make it more stable and durable. It has a 7-Step Adjustable Rear Suspension for a more comfortable ride. It sports a Large Diameter Front Disc Brake (φ300mm) for high braking force and Dual-Channel ABS System that prevents the wheels from locking up.
The Gixxer 250 is available in Metallic Matte Black and is priced at PHP 165,000 while the Gixxer SF250 comes in Special Edition Triton Blue and Silver with an SRP of PHP 175,000.
The Suzuki 2020-2021 motorcycle line-up will be available in stores starting November and December.
